Cookie Policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

We use no advertising or analytics cookies anywhere, and nothing that follows you to other websites. This page lists everything that is stored. All of it is needed for the site or the app to work, so we don't ask you to accept cookies.

1. The home page

The home page sets no cookies. Its fonts come from our own server, so loading it sends nothing to other companies. It stores one thing in your browser, and only if you use the demo:

  • Demo token, strictly necessary. When you send your first demo message, the page keeps a random code in your browser's local storage (nuune.demo) so that each browser gets its ten demo messages. It says nothing about you, is not shared with anyone, and stays until you clear your browser's site data.

The demo and the waitlist talk only to our own server; what they keep is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Our other pages

  • Sign-in cookies, strictly necessary. Only the pages where you sign in or sign up, the page for your plan and the pages for our own staff load Clerk, our sign-in provider. There it sets cookies that record whether you are signed in (for example __client_uat, and __session once you sign in) and protect signing in. The legal pages, FAQ, help and invite pages do not load Clerk and set none.
  • Error reports go to Sentry when a page breaks. They set no cookies, and we remove cookies from them before they are sent.

3. The app

The app uses no cookies. It keeps your sign-in in your phone's secure storage, a random ID for counting the ten free messages in the iOS Keychain, and your settings on the phone. If you talk to Nuune before making an account, that conversation is kept on your phone until you make one, then moved to your account and removed from the phone. Usage data is sent only if you turn it on. See our Privacy Policy.

4. Managing them

You can delete or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking Clerk's cookies stops signing in on the website from working; everything else works without them. Questions: privacy@nuune.app.
